Many companies who are planning a function book a D.J. for their dance. The truth of the matter is that they don’t realize that many D.J.’s charge almost as much as some professional live bands. Yes, Jake has heard many social club directors tell him that a D.J. can play any type of music, from A to Z. But musicians in the Jake Carvin Agency are experienced, to say the least. They got their roots in rock and roll and have continued playing and performing all other types of music. They are PROFESSIONALS. A professional can usually play any request that someone suggests. The difference is, that the person requesting the song can interact and have fun with a live band, not a machine. Don’t get me wrong, D.J.’s have their place, we book them too, but it is not the same thing as a live entertainer !!
